Congrats on the nice gem.
The images looks like magic Smile and also lot more useful on .95 than the 50mm (if your comparison was with both lenses wide open).
We would like to see more of this magical rendering please Very Happy

Stunning IQ

Would also love to see more samples. Very Happy

What do you think about size/ weight? And how does it perform against the 25mm? (U have both?)

Cheers
Lars

I am now having 25/0.95 + 17.5/0.95 both, but no idea for the performance of 17.5/0.95 in outdoor, will test it later.

Regards the weight, the Gun is heavy !!!

Could you do a wide open comparison between those two for sharpness? Same framing would be best I guess.

Put it on NEX-7, unfortunetely it is not full covered, but can see quite good image quality at edge side.

Congrats on your new lens. More samples would be greatly appreciated Smile

I find this to be on par with the 25mm without doing any more extensive side by side tests. If you liked the 25mm, this won't disappoint.

Here are a couple of samples and some more observations can be found in my review.

Wide open (corners are dark because of the processing):

Stopped down to f/5.6 if memory serves:

I got a nice opportunity to use this lens for a car show today. Here are some selections, more can be found here.

Yes, it is sharp. Here are a few more from yesterday. Most of these are stopped down to f/1.4:

Depth of field is so small at the close distances needed for the last three shots that very little is in focus.

It took me a bit, but I managed to force flare:

Starburst reflections look great:

Nice view Wink
I you only could keep one, which would you chose, 17,5 or the 25mm?

The choice will depend on focal length preference, if you have any.

Some more shots from the last car show:
