I take lens block from Smena-8M, and fit this block to the Industar-61L/D barrel.
See photos.

Wow, great idea. I have a scrap Industar-61 and a Smena I'm not likely to use again, so I might try do the same some day. Was it a straightforward job or did you run into problems? |

Very neat conversion work, well done. Lens looks good for a simple triplet. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |

Main problem - make spacer between the lens block and barrel hole. I take some small parts from dead cheap zooms and glue it with epoxy resin.
Hard work - cut off "male" thread from the frame of the old 40.5mm filter those used as lens filter thread.
Label printed on the inkjet printer and impregnated with the epoxy resin, glazed on the sheet of the laminating film.
Small problem - find the punch for central hole in the label. |

Nice convertion!
T-43 is an interesting lens. On FF, borders are not great, but for Street photo, it's all good. _________________ Pierre

I also really like this lens, very modest but surprisingly good; in particular I like the colours it gives me.
After seeing siudym's images, I will try it with my helicoid-M39 adapter |
