I finally got around to giving this lens a good go on the NEX-5N. We have seen comments about its bokeh, and I believe it true that the bokeh can be harsh at times, but it can also be managed by careful selection of distances and angles. You will see here where it is no problem, and one picture where it is questionble. The lens does impress me as being sharper than I expected, the rest you can judge for yourself.

wow. That's beautiful.

Except #3, all look very good to me. The color rending is superb, esp #10.
Bokeh of 4, 5, 6 is good.
#8 is simple beauty.
infinity details looks good.
I don't see #11 often.

I need to get mine fixed for the focus play issue. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Attila. No, it has a rubber focus grip.

Love them all - the OOF is slightly reminiscent of that bear/grenade the helios 40.
