One of my first purchases (2006) in the realm of manual focus lenses were a Spotmatic SP
and three Super-Taks, 1.4/50, 3.5/35, 3.5/135 and all had their carry cases. I paid $27.50
with shipping. I sent the Spotmatic to Jussi who informed me it was scrap metal. Laughing

CVS scans were unusable, lines, grain, etc, so these are from the Epson 4490, Fuji 200:

I'll be trying Walgreens again, even though they are more than twice the price.

Looking forward to trying these lenses on a digital camera.

Attila, thanks, as before, CVS did me no favors, but hope to try this lens again very soon.

The lenses would be nice on a 5D.
The 28/3.5, 55/1.8, 85/1.9, & 105/2.8 are also nice lenses, with the 85 being stellar(IMO).

+1

Also 35/3.5 and 35/2 are very good for their prices.

Thanks, folks, will look for the 2/35. I'm sure the 1.9/85 goes for a princely sum, nowadays. Smile

I had the 1.9/85, sold it after a week, not bad but far behind the Jupiter 9 2/85.

I like the 2.8/80 CZJ Biometar (Exakta mount) that Klaus found for me from a German
vendor. Looks like I will be buying the NEX C3 so I can get an adapter to use it on digital.

After getting reamed three times in a row at CVS, I may have to go the route of BW for
35mm, and color will be 120 or digital.

I like the Biometar too, but results I've seen from it on digital aren't quite as good as it does on film. Which reminds me, I must shoot some 120 with my Biometar 80, It's been sat in the cupboard for a while.

The Cardinar 4/100 for the Werra is fantastic, if you don't have it, try to find one. I made an adapter to use mine on the NEX (from a broken Werra) and it is fantastic on digital.

Ian, Attila found all three Werra lenses, need to try the Cardinar again on the Werra 3. Finding
a junker Werra to make an adapter would be difficult on this side the pond.
