Some shots taken during the weekend, scanned with my old Epson 4180. This Ektachrome was outdated since 2002 so i had a hard time correcting colour casts, even if it's not perfect i hope you'll like the results ! Smile

Makes you wonder why people don't just shoot film only! That is just a tongue-in-cheek comment, not serious. But
man...what GREAT results. And DEEP color.

Oh my...This is by far one of the very best photos I have ever seen in this forum Shocked
The colours so good and natural looking even though you had to correct it, the contrast and sharpness just perfect, but most of all the 3D factor is beyond words that I could use to describe!

Excellent results and very sharp.

Stunning indeed and not just 'film shooting', its medium format film shooting. I do not think you can get depth and detail like these from even high end 35mm. At least i cant.

Yep the three dimensionality of these photos is stunning.

I have been thinking about selling off all my extraneous 6x6 gear and replacing it with a 2.8(C or D) Rollei for a while now.
I think your pictures just pushed me over the edge. That Rolleiflex is fantastic!

I love the pictures. I think the man on the horse could have been framed differently so as not to cut off his arm but other than that they are wonderful!

Wow thanks a lot for all your great comments !!

Indeed it's a fantastic camera, and this lens (first version 5 element Planar) gives me wonderful results ! I can't wait to enlarge some b&w prints took with it.
Please note that this camera has been properly and entirely overhauled by the -IMO- french Rollei specialist, i think that's mainly why results look so great. Wink

Can you remembe the price of the overhaul? If the guy is really skilled, it could be worth sending to France. I have
coveted one of these for a long time. I am rebuilding my stolen equipment and right now the Rolleiflex has moved from
the middle of my wish list, to one of the top 5. Your images reminded me of just how good it is...

Wow, I am speechless. I don't think I will ever again shoot film, but your results are absolutely wonderful.

I want a 6x6 digital roleiflex !!! Laughing simply because I can't develop here and I don't find here film and have no time and skills to do it myself !!!
Seriously , great results I like them all ! great sharpness, colors and 3D sensation !

Nice shots. The first two in particular perfectly illustrate the three-dimensionality you can get with the larger formats; this is one of the chief reasons I'm looking at getting a MF as my first ever film camera. This "3D-ness" is clearly more than just shallow DOF too; in the picture of the car the DOF isn't super shallow, and yet the leaves have so much depth, almost as if you could touch them. I'm convinced this look just can't be achieved to the same degree with 35mm.

Simply amazing, all of them. Excellent captures, especially #1 and #2, I feel like I'm falling into those

Wow, just looking at the auction site, these are NOT cheap! I didn't expect them to be, but the prices ARE
quite high, it seems. Some of the Rolleiflex cameras pictured on the auction site are gorgeous.

These pictures are excellent but remember folks it's not only the film and lens but the person behind the camera is also important as well..... and I've seen sharpness and pop from a Bronica ETRS 6X4.5 and a good copy of a Russian seagull 6X6 for £12 can give top results.
