...when suddenly, this happens...

Not bad condition, got a lens, graflok back and half a light sabre Smile Hopefully the viewfinder works and there are no pinholes.

Cheers, Bill.
I've been wanting one of these for a while and this was mis-listed and for sale at the wrong time of day. Even if it needs bellows work, no big deal. Although from what I make out about these, the bellows seem to be very long-lived.

I've a feeling it must be connected, somehow.
For a couple of years I hardly bought anything and especially the past year I've been spending my spare cash on building material. This past couple of weeks I've been splashing out a bit as a form of relief, having finished a phase of the building.
Now that's done, I have to get back to saving and buying more material.

Sounds as a good reason for congratulations and for doing something odd!
Do you have to go another long time project for the next phase?

Next phase is laying a floor and insulating the walls of the kitchen, plus making a stove from scratch - a rocket stove type, so it will heat a block wall for thermal mass. If I get that all finished by the end of the year I'll be happy enough.

Minolfan and BigDawg, it never ends. In my case it had barely started even though I bought the place over a decade ago, various events interfered with actually pushing ahead with the work. I've finished one quarter of it (in fact, more than a quarter, considering all the plumbing and tankage I put into place this past several months).
If I'm lucky I might get the place finished in time to enjoy a retirement Smile

Well, it arrived and the only thing not working is the Kalart rangefinder and that's only because the spy glasses are crudded up - I'll try cleaning them later. It's in fairly nice condition overall and has the looks of not being in heavy pro use, but not being a cosseted shelf queen either. I'd say it had some serious use in its early years but spent a considerable time in storage after that. Everything works and needs some lube and once it's bulled up it will be a nice camera. There's corrosion in some places where you'd expect it from just sitting for years - like on the bottom of the fold-down rear eyesight, and the pull-up sportsfinder bar is very stuck. The worn edges of alloy components on the Graflok back are corroded - nothing serious, but it's not been touched for years else that wouldn't be there.

The original supplier was G.A. Jolley, 402 W. Walnut St, Dickson, Tennessee.

I love it when I find little stickers like that - gives some sense of the history of the piece.

I bought two ruins about 35 years ago, knocked the two into one and made it habitable, actually most of it was finished when I retired three years ago. But the first job I did on retirement was put some skirting boards on - that had been cut ready to fit over 20 years ago. You can't go rushing these things, getting it right takes time.
Old houses are an ongoing job, I've just had the complete roof done, but that was done by professionals. I haven't got the time any more, I really don't know how I found the time to work for the man! Confused

Cheers, Bill. I'm looking forward to using it out and about. I find I'm lacking a rollfilm back for 4x5 and neither of the venerable but working r/f backs for 9x12 can be adapted. Hmph, more expense - otoh, an opportunity to acquire another piece of useful gear - yes, that's it Smile
