Well i just picked up this little gem in NYC the past week and i wanted to post samples for others to see.I used the lens for nearly an entire week on my NEX 5N with M39 Mount adapter. My overall impression of the lens is - OUTSTANDING in all areas.
-Center sharpness WO is as sharp as any 1.4 i have used if not sharper.
Contrast and Color are excellent and responds very well in Post Processing.
-Infinity focus is extremely sharp stopped down just a little.
Over all IMO Very impressive little lens when you consider its likely 70 years old.
Here are a few to look at.Will post more later
-Jim

Great performance and looks like a very nicely done mounting, congrats.

It likely is a remounted lens, but i do not think it was a Cine lens to begin with. The lens is very small and resembles closely this lens here, in fact the serial numbers are very close to each other http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/2668043
