This month was a free version of DXO Filmpack Vers. 2 as a give away in a German foto magazine. In the meantime vers. 3 is on the market with maybe more options but to become familiar with the technology behind vers. 2 will be fine.
First a sample "out of the cam" with my standard PP procedure
and now the same image PP with DXO filmpack vers. 2 and setting FUJI Provia100F

dxo made a very bad work, look the red near the center, the water drop almost disappear and the shine and transparency of the plastic is replaced by a flat surface without reflection
put it directly to the bin, it is for beginner who believe in fairy tales _________________ T* |

Thanks for the info!
Just managed to find a copy -- this particular issue also
has a workshop about Focus Stacking, one of
my favourite subjects. |
