Just tested another Takumar purchased during my Osaka trip. Same price - 6,800 yen (~US$70) ! Another great bargain!

Not sure if it is super-multi-coated (i.e. SMC) since the lens just marked "Super-Takumar", but not "SMC Takumar" ????

The super takumars are single coated, not multicoated lenses.

I paid $100 for mine, but it was from Ned the Pentax repair guy, came with the hood, so I figured it was worth it.

Mine's an S-M-C version, great little lens, I really liked it on my 1DIII, I haven't used it much on my NEX-7 since I have other lenses that cover that FL like my Canon RF 100/3.5, I did get some great shots of my nieces with it, I can easily recommend it.

Very, very, very good lens! Beautiful photos! Who cares about radioactivity? I could never understand those worries...

Seems to be better than my EBC FUJINON 100/2.8, I regret that I don't have one to test them face to face
