I shot my first roll of Velvia last weekend. I found Velvia 100 much easier to get good exposures. Anyway here are a few samples from the roll.

Nikon FE, Ai 50/1.4 and Ais 24/2.8

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful series, sakura in the spring. 2,4,5,6, and 7 I especially like, great work with the Velvia 50!

Velvia 50 rather Velvia 25 try it out next time as ISO 25.

Thanks guys. I heard that Velvia 50 shouldn't be rated 50 but as it was my first time I just it at 50. Next time I'll over expose it and see what happens.

Very nice work, just picked up my first roll of slide film. This is exciting to try out a new film.

Like how you caught the koi in the foreground of 2, and the framing/comp in the last, beautiful catch!

I always expose Velvia 50 @ ISO40 - try it, I think you'll like it!

It all depends on the use that you're going to make of the slides,
if you're going to scan them, then overexposing of 1/3rd stop can be good.
If instead you're going to project slides with a projector, I would definitely NOT overexpose them.
