I have collected a few Enna made Corfield m39 lenses lately. You can get most of these lenses for SLR too, but I like the smaller adapters between my camera and lenses. Here are some results from a few days ago...

Received sad news yesterday, Sir Kenneth Corfield passed away 11th of January.

A noble man and I'm glad I was allowed to know him for many years.

Maybe interesting for those who are interested in Corfield lenses and cameras.

We had for some years annual meetings with former Ihagee members (some may know Richard Hummel's name, for ex.), collectors and some others from Pentacon. And Ken was the Ihagee representative for UK. And of course do I know him from Exakta Circle, too, where I was a member many years ago.
Last years, we just exchanged Christmas cards.

So sad this, but well, all our lives here are limited. RIP Sir Corfield.

You inspired me to buy and read the Corfield book. I got a signed copy from the writer and was the first Norwegian who had ordered the book. The writer also knew sir Corfield pretty well. Quite an inspiring story. I really liked the part when they made their first camera and all the publicity they got in Britain. Amazing story...
