June 10th set "Rice"

It's the time of year in Japan when the young rice plants are in the paddies so I thought I'd shoot that for the June 10th event. But it's not a full roll unfortunately. I ran out of light!

Fujicolor 100 in a Nikon F80D with the 28-80 kit lens. I bought this camera/lens combo on Yahoo Auctions recently and this was the first test. I got it developed at the lab I usually use but this time I'm not very impressed with the negatives. I'm not sure what went wrong! I'm particularly disapointed with the colours in the last shot. Anyway here are some of the results. Scanned on a V700 with a little post production. Please ignore ht date stamp. I forgot to turn it off.

#4 is my favorite for the strong geometry and reflection. A very nice shot.
