Just a common city bird that was jumping over my table to pick some crumbs.
At Lyon, France (where I've been this weekend to take my son):

Regards.

Very nice shot, Jes!
Those Albinar lenses are really not bad!

lucky you, my birds are countryside birds and so scared that even with a 200mm it's almost impossible to come this close.
I'm going to take an afternoon in Toulouse to try those city birds Smile

Thanks colleagues!

@Carsten:
The Super Albinar special is a nice lens, even if the Albinars have the fame of being simple lenses.
I cannot notice evident aberrations, and the colouring and sharpness are quite adequate.

@Hexaddict:
They were even annoying. Too confident, were walking and jumping over the table. Too close for the lens, that has a close focusing distance of over 1,5m. Luckily this one was jumping on the table next to us and didn't move for a while.
(BTW, we were at a Hippopotamus restaurant, the only place where you can have a lunch on sunday at "spanish" times (4pm this time))

@Poilu:
Me too, this was a lot of luck. They move as if they were mad Wink

@Attila:
Thanks!. I love your Kakapo shots Wink

Jes.

Nice shot. I can't imagine trying to shoot birds with a mf lens
