Now I''m really surprize. Got yesterday a Olympus 35 DC and was so exited I didn't change iso number at all but shot piece of 400 film (Fuji Superia Xtra 400) at 200. Then found that out and underprocessed it (about 3,5 minutes instead of normal 5).

Who says you can't process color with b&w chemicals.

That is surprising good result indeed!
And how is the camera itself in your experience?

Really nice, first I thought hmm .. it could have the manual controls. When shooting found out that if I want to fiddle with the knobs I can do it endlessly with my slr:s. Smile

Kansalliskala (can I call you KansasAlaska? that's easier lol) congrats on this excellent find!
You will be able to do some nice low light BW work with this outfit, I mean, with real BW film. Wink

Excellent results using D76!

Yes, this is very good to carry around and shoot everywhere.

Crazy that I just ordered some b&w film (Arista 400) from U.S. Much cheaper than buy locally.

Kansa, hope it was the Arista Premium 400 (TriX). I no longer
trust the cassettes the regular Arista is loaded in, unless you
like horizontal lines running thru the entire roll. The 120 Arista
of course is still a great buy!

Remarkable!

Wow!
That's really good!

I should also try to do this. One roll 36x "no name" (but I think it's relabeled Fuji Superia 200 or something similar; it's really good) color film costs less than 1€ here locally while the cheapest B/W film costs at least 3€ (Agfa APX 100) Smile

I have tried a few C-41 films in BW chemicals, I had many issues with grain and bad tonality, I never really got results as nice as these, I think it's a case of finding the right developer:

Yes it was Premium, Regular was just 100 where I ordered. Looked at that too but didn't buy.

You chose well, Arista Premium 100 and 400 (Kodak Plus X and TriX, respectively) is
packaged in Mexico, with Kodak oversight.
