What do you get if you have some medicore/bad camera gear (Zenit ET, Industar 50-2, Polaris Zoom 90-190 from 60's), expired color film you found free on a local flea-market (Superia X-Tra 400) and minimalistic black and white development kit. http://forum.mflenses.com/my-film-kit-t49668.html Kodak D-76, Agefix, totally unknown dilutions, temperature unknown, times guessed, no stop or rinse additions, just water. Then add a real cheap 5 years and very much used old Canon 4400F scanner.
Most answers on the internet say you get nothing or just some pale ghostly and cloudy negatives.
Put in a sunny day and a nice view you get nice retro feeling surprise.
All pics about 11 and 250.
1. Industar 50-2, I cut the film slightly too short and film curls, hence the left side disturbance.
2. Industar 50-2, this is technically the best I think.
3. Polaris zoom at 90, my favourite of this series. Don't know what is the black object on the right corner?
4. Polaris zoom at 190, softish. The spot is there because I dry my films in the greenhouse, which is the most dust/dog-hair -free place I can find. Then it started raining, note to self: don't go save the negatives while it still rains.
