Many thanks for your comments.

Below a conversion in b&w with DXO Film Pack 2. Image was taken with D800 and MR-Telyt-R 8/500.
Left side is our Arko, on the right is his mother. The heads could be a tak sharper but it is not so easy to find the focus with a mirror for such an image.

You were very wise to choose this breed Rolf, many congratulations. Arko will be a lovely, gentle, affectionate friend to all the family. We got our son a Golden Retriever too, on his 7th birthday, after we knew we couldn't have any more children, and we'll be forever thankful he came into our lives.

Many thanks to all for the comments.

Arko is today 16 weeks old - that means time for the next shooting. Here with Sigma SD15 and Sigma UC 28-105mm (AF) lens

Many thanks to all for your comments.

Below few new shots of ARKO. He is now 17 weeks old - a real awkward age.

Images taken with D800 and Leica APO-Telyt 3.4/180mm

Thank you Olivier for providing us with such a hot weather. Yesterday we have had 38 ° C here. And yes ARKO is a real "guzzle machine" and the result you can see on the pictures.

Rolf, you will have years of delight with this dog. I cried when my lab died at age 15!

No, we visited today the breeder and she kept one dog for herself - so Arko could play with his sister this afternoon.
