Thank you Smoli.

Just developed in Lightroom without any special effects, nor resizing or anything.
Consider they're out of the camera (5D MkII Raw format).

Thank you all. Smile
I like to use this lens for close-ups. It looks like a counter-use but not so much to me.
Not easy to focus but okay on 5D MkII. The ring is perfectly smooth.
Having a big and clear viewfinder is important to frame correctly and foresee the doughnuts bokey so that to play with them or avoid them.
A very good lens.

Very nice series, the lens appears incredibly sharp and does not appear to look like it was taken at 500mm.
Were these shots handheld or from a tripod?

Very nice work! Looks gorgeous! Much better than your first tries with this lens!

All shots handheld.

I changed one thing for this serie.
They are converted from Raw to Jpeg using Lightroom instead of Digital Photo Professional.

Very nice shots with the Tamron 500mm mirror lens. I also like the lens as it's quite sharp and light weight / small. Can be taken very easy for a trip (this cannot be said for the 800mm 5.6 Canon FD lens I have. Need a car to go further than 1km) Very Happy

Thank you Tanheis.
I agree : quite sharp, light weight, and smooth focusing, good grip wich enables handheld shooting.

Fantastic work. I like 1, 3, and 11 the most. Great composition that makes them more than just macro shots.

Olivier I vote for #1 Candle light, and one of the bumble bee/fly images as you nailed the focus on those.
These are just my thoughts, all are great and show the Tamrons abilities as a great lens.
