Metz Mecablitz 45 CL-1 and Kodak SLR/c.

The Megablitz somehow balances the size of Kodak and acts as a counterweight, ergonomics is - believe or not - even better. Also I like the functioning of it: automatic - non TTL but manual adjustment. I'll post some samples after I first read the manual.

I wonder why they are now abundant and cheap on ebay.de. What was the use of them? You can see one on almost every older "Derrick" or "Ein Fall für Zwei" etc episode. Or are they Rollei, the oval shaped ones?

[WARNING: this one is CL-1. Don't connect CT-1 to a DSLR.]

Hmmm, I should get one to use with my Polaroids... If you spot one going for cheap send me a ping. Smile

BTW the SLR/c is one camera I'd really love to own. A pity they are rare and still a bit too expensive for the little use I have for a DSLR lately.

Do you have images taken with the Kodak camera? I am curious.

Thanks, if I understand correctly, this Kodak camera does not have an antialiasing filter, so it's images must be very good.
My M9 has a Kodak sensor which blows CMOS away for detail.

Here is typical from today with Distagon. Looks great but doesn't cope with closer examination.
