I knew I'd get dark and gritty with this expired Foma 400, as even fresh it's lucky to make ASA 320 with a tail light Very Happy But I set the ES-II to 320 and gave it an extra minute or two + extra shaking in D-76 1:1. Probably ought to have rated it at 200 or even lower. But then, I would not have got these grainy dark results (to match my grainy dark mood).

And, since I have a fast 50 on the camera, I opened it up to something like F2 or 2.8 for this dafodil. I looked at the flower two ways and decided to go with this darker version so as to hold what detail there is...

Yes the grain suits fine ! i like the mood of the 3rd, quite dark
