Or should I say thick forest? Both for sure.
It's so thick that the eyes are wandering restlessly finding nothing to focus upon, giving the impression of niesen bokeh.
But it's just a very dense forest.
Canon FD 35/2.8, tilt/shift, f/8, tripod, LV, 2 frames shifted and stitched with PTgui. Cropped a bit.

Much appreciated.
As for the coppice, probably you use the word as a synonym for plantation: it might be considering the trees size. They are all the same. Almost.
The picture has been taken during a visit to a maple syrup farm in the nearby on the main land. I surmised also that that's a plantation in order to expand the farm.
AF lens. The B&W picture is what you see in the background. No pails hanging on them. Yet.
