This version of the well known Jupiter-11 comes in Contax/Kiev/Nikon-S mount.
Small adapter that gives a balance to the long lens legth.
Diameter quite small:

I like the bokeh:

Today was a bright sunny day, warm temperatures that are announcing the early spring, so a nice oportunity to spend some time walking the beach and testing the sharpness and colouring of this lens:

Not only me enjoying the day and shooting test shots Wink

Regards,
Jes.

Nice lens, 1960 red P is good version to have. I had a slightly earlier one but it had a butchered mount sadly.

Today has been the first warm day since december, it has been an unusually cold winter.
Thanks for pointing out the sensor dust, I didn't notice it.
I swap lenses too often... Sad

The red P lenses are the ones to have, earlier the better, if you can find 1954 or earlier it will be made from Zeiss glass.

Thanks, Attila!. One of the fixed set to carry with the NEX. I use to bring the Color Skopar 35mm 2.5, the Summarit 50mm 1.5 and this Jupiter-11 togheter. If I hade a Heliar 15mm would be the perfect set for it Wink.

Regards.

That is the Kazan nickle-plated version. Brother of my lens (6016384).

Nice shots, can you use j-8 with that camera too?

Yep, mine is the black one. It's a good option for 50mm.
I Will show some samples with it. Smile

The red P seems to mean that the lens is multicoated. Also, apparently some "red P" lenses are marked "red P" aftermarket - not sure whether they're redoing the serial numbers too - if it's too expensive, remember this.
