scanning the specs, framerate readout (3.6fps) seems slow for mirrorless, liveview or video to me?
Maybe it is faster at reduced resolution Confused ?

Sony A850/A900 & Nikon D3X have had a 24.6mpix sensor for years, with faster FPS no less… The Nikon D800 will have a 36mpix sensor, so this announcement doesn't seem very exciting or “setting new standards” as they claim. =)
