Found this when a Printer lab was dissolved... shot fully open using a 0.7x Speedbooster on GH4

Part I

Gosh, I came home with so many shots, not sure which ones to show...

Wow!
Impressive photos, Klaus!
And the lens surely is a gem. Unexpectedly, it seems to be very good with distant subjects, as well.
I wish I'll have such a lens... Smile

Indeed impressive. What type/brand of Speedbooster did you use? Have you more information about the lens?

A M42 Kipon one (I guess, not labeled as such). Details of the lens will be disclosed later, I need to buy all of them first Wink

Nice results.
Can we see the lens?

So, as there have been questions about the possible influence of the speedbooster,
here now some shots without it, also shot fully open at f4, identical processing.
Lighting condition were different and I was framing from memory, so bare with me:

now some ugly technical pic...

For me performance is even, just bokeh is different (and image size, if I could not compensate as in last pic,
but great to check the speedbooster magnification factor, it is indeed 0.71x)

Well, and here just a few pics w/o speedbooster...

and here how I would do in studio...(but shot outside)

This lens was designed to get the best out of people's negatives and it surely does!

I can't say anything negative Wink . Those bees are phenomenal. Just some really good images. Have you managed to corner the market on supplies of this delightful optical instrument?

Man, they are impressive kds. Thanks for sharing. Absolutely popping off the screen.

Sea holly is my favourite plant, so I'll brook no complaint on showing it again.

Freackingly sharp man.
I can tell there is almost no pp sharpness related applied on those pics.
Now buy every lens that is up for grab on the market and THEN hit us with a name Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
