Does anyone knows this lens? Can´t find much info about it...... Sad

It is a good as any other 'typical" 50mm kit lens from the mid-late 1960's. Plan on using it on an M42 film camera, or a crop DSLR, or mirrorless, as it has mirror clearance issues with Canon 5 series full frame cameras.

The DS lens is most likely f/1.9 since there was no 50mm/1.8 lens in the Yashinon DS series. Unlike some other Yashinon M42 mount normal lenses, the 50mm/1.9 is typically compatible with the reflex mirrors of DSLRs. I find thatmine give nice sharp images when used with film cameras.

I had 1.9 DSB if I remember as well, it was okay , I never seen ever crappy 50mm lens.
