|
|
Pentax announced the MX-1 today, a new rangefinder. So that's nifty. It sports a 4X zoom, 1:1.8-2.5 (whoa!) lens. The 35mm equivalent focal length is 28-112mm and Pentax again includes the 1cm macro function.
And, the style is pretty much spot-on, too.
The sensor is a 1/1.7" CMOS, 12MP, with sensitivity to ISO 12,800. And the sensor uses the K-5S II's shake reduction system.
Also, the rear LCD, which is 3 inches, tilts.
This starts shipping in February at $500 USD (399 GBP).

I do really dig the slightly retro style, too. It looks to me like a slick looking, small, user's camera. _________________ http://www.5119photography.com/

Great. now make that with an aps sized sensor, K-mount, and a viewfinder. I don't even care if it's electronic. just something to frame off. a clear fsking glass window would be nice. alla zorki / kiev / what ever.
Better yet, Will someone make a digital back for a K1000 / MX / ME / Spotomatic / Pentacon IV / Zoriki etc etc etc.
3" touch screen, sic all you'd need is a button to delete, play, and change the iso.
MAKE IT AND TAKE MY MONEY ALREADY! |
