Tight Om Zuiko to Fuji X-E1 adapter.

I tried it with a couple Zuiko lenses.
They fastened on, but it was very tight So I am afraid of damaging the lenses.
Also it makes the adapter pretty useless for changing lenses while walking around.
Any solutions?

In general, sometimes some brands of adapters are very tight with certain lenses. Try a different brand would be my recommendation. I don't use OM-lenses, so others might help for more specific advice on which

The tightness is felt while twisting the lens onto the adapter.
Does this mean it might be too thick?
In that case if I grind some off it would remove the tightness?

Finally I filed it down on the side opposite the one that contacts the lens and is
working.
