Here is my first attempt to make a vintage look-a-like image.

Our small town, captured with Pentax K-r & Pentax M 2/28 @F8.
Raw file developed in ACR, converted to B&W, sepia effect and vignetting was added in OneOne Soft Phototools.
Finally I gave the image some scratches.

Interesting how we use the best materials available (a DSLR and a very good prime) to create an artificially degraded image in the end Smile

I like it, but I don't think I could have been fooled in thinking that it was shot 150 years ago. The building in the distant background is too new. The water seems to flow very fast... Maybe a longer shutter speed could have been appropiate also?

Yes of cause you are right, my main intention was to try out the technique.
Next time I am going to find a matching background Wink.
