Can anybody identify this lens?

Cimko (Cima kogaku)? I know that's the brand, not the lens. I'd take a guess at 28mm looking at the distance scale.

Yeah it must be an incarnation of the Cimko 28. I thought it was a bit tall but the w-auto- also points at it. I thought the filter was 49mm but that could also be the serial number.

The W-Auto also appeared on Tokina made Soligor wa lenses but I don't think this is one of them.

I wondered about that too. Some close focusing capability?

.3 meters so bog standard. Must be a less sophisticated retro focus lens design.

Actually quite good, modern versions even better. Cimko made nice wides.
