I b'lieve the long ones are just achromatic doublets, rather like Century Tele-Athenars. Long focus lenses of normal (not telephoto, not retrofocus) construction are, as expected, long.

Wow I`d like to try them all.
Does anyone have one of them? Especially the 1000mm looks very interesting to me. I`d like to know how it performs.
