Any one have any thoughts on this lens? Any links to sample picks taken with it?

I'm a little late to help the original poster, but hopefully this will help anybody who finds this thread via a search (like I did). Thanks. I've read this forum for a while now, but never posted before.

Is this Yashica 70-150 made by Kiron like the Nikon E 70-150?

We're talking about a 75-150, not a 70-150. In all the research I did on that lens, I never read anything to indicate that it was made by Kiron.

Kiron does make some fine stuff, though. I've got a number of Vivitar lenses made by Kiron (sn 22*), and I like them all.

Apparently that Kiron lens appeared under a variety of brands as well as Nikon, I forget which now but Vivitar was among them.
