Hello,

I can buy this lens for €40, is it worth it? It's a M42 mount according the seller.

Thanks for watching Smile

My guess is it's part of the newer Series1 line and not as good as the original Series 1 lenses. Also, that is a pretty wide focal range to attain quality throughout.

Looks like Cosina to me. Probably not bad to quite good. I won't be amazing though.

I got one of those on Nikon mount (AF).

It's "ok" for the family and friend that doesn't want to fiddle with MF lens. One very bad thing about this lens, it focus at ~8 feet minimum, so don't try to take indoor shot even at 28mm.
