This looks quite a good lens, but the OCD in me won't let me buy a zoom which starts at 35mm. Why can it start at 28 or 50? Laughing

Isn't 35mm a standard wide angle? Or is it a long wide angle?

I used to own this lens, not a bad performer imho. I sold it last year to buy a Tamron SP 24-48mm.
I still have the dedicated Tamron hood (new, cased and boxed) for this lens. If you are interested send me a PM.

Looks really good!

I really like those Tamron lenses, the more I use them, the more I like them.

With my Adaptall-set, I could be satisfied:

2.5/24
2.5/28
2.8-3.8/35-80
2.5/135
8/500

Yes, and not only the SP's. I shall have to go through my lens cupboard and list mine now Smile
