Gentlemen,
Yesterday arrived to me the Jupiter 21M in M42 mount type. I was inspired to have this lens by these topics:
http://forum.mflenses.com/better-pentacon-200-f-4-or-jupiter-21m-200-f-4-t13449.html
http://forum.mflenses.com/jupiter-21m-200mm-f4-howz-this-lens-now-i-know-t1589,start,30.html
http://forum.mflenses.com/jupiter-21m-200mm-f-4-t58734,start,15.html
#1 - WO, f4...
#2 - Seems to be oranges, but are lemons - so, do a lemonade! The bokeh is not distractive, not a crazy bokeh neither but nice.
#3 - Infinity focus test, actually the infinity overpasses a bit, but i can live with that...
#4 - Wide open, the not so wide aperture can be used sometimes for creative purposes...
#5 - Narrow angle to the strong light source means flare, i knew that...
#6 - ... a landscape without a cow...
#7 - ... is not complete!
#8 - Flare can merge within the composition of the picture and used for other purposes than break the contrast where it's not intended to do...
#9 - nice light, revealing a little cow jump...
#10 - ... look at the next pic, the central part of this image was croped at 100%
#11 - ... not bad!
#12 - ... strong and vivid colors, as we expect from a Jupiter lens
#13 - ... and delicate when it have to be.
All pics where processed with ALR 4.4 and received default sharpening. Curves and exposure tweaked when needed and resize and signature made in PS.
It's not a stellar serie but shows the potential this lens has to work with,
Cheers,
Renato |
