it's nice lens, i like that it has minimum focusing distance of 18cm. only thing is that it lacks a bit of contrast _________________ my tools:Oly E-M5 + 45mm/1.8 + Oly E-520 + 12-60 + 14-42 + 70-300 + Sigma 105mm + FL-50R + EC20 + SRF-11 ring flash

I had a chance to try this lens once. Met the seller at a cafe.
Unfortunately the lens mount (Nikon) hit my 5D mirror. So I pass on it.
Later on my friend told me that it can be modified to fit in 5D, but the lens was already sold.
Well, glad to know from you that the lens is lack of contrast _________________ Carl Zeiss Jena: Biotar 58/2 1Q, DDR Pancolar 80/1.8 MC, Biotar 75/1.5, Biotar 10cm/2, DDR Sonnar 135/3.5 MC

my version is in OM mount
yes, the contrast could be better but that can be easily fixed in PP _________________ my tools:Oly E-M5 + 45mm/1.8 + Oly E-520 + 12-60 + 14-42 + 70-300 + Sigma 105mm + FL-50R + EC20 + SRF-11 ring flash

Dunno. Not at all cheap in USA. Very expensive. I want one badly. Check every day. Cannot afford.
My view: Anybody owning one of these is fortunate. Congrats! |
