Very nice shots - though the swallowtail picture has very busy bokeh Smile

Do you possibly have another sample of Tessar for control and comparison?

Hi, I bought a AUS JENA tessar and the first tests do not seem to have the same sharpness that your photos. You've used photoshot, to increase sharpness?
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

Sergio

PS: Mine is Zebra

yes, i sharpened them a little, but i sharpen all photos to the same amount.
as to lack of sharpness of your lens, it could be production sample variation,or maybe someone opened the lens to repair it and didn't put it back together correctly

If the position is correct. I'll upload photos, it is not so bad either. The glass are impeccable.
Thanks for your reply.
