I did find a couple of spots like that, but check out this stretch of paper-thin ice dusted with hoarfrost.

Next time I'm going to bring a tarp or a blanket or something so I can lay right down and take my time with composition and framing. Also a beanbag to lay the camera on, the lowest tripod ever!
