My first UWA. A fun lens and quite sharp. The contrast could be better though.
Some early images.
Hope you like them.

I like your pictures very much. I would lift some of the shadows here and there - but maybe that's simply my taste - or my monitor settings. _________________ John |

Thanks John. My monitor (a small Samsung Syncmaster) is nothing to write home to momma about and I am stuck with it since my Mac died on me... So in all probability, the processing is off.
Will give it a dekko. _________________ Arijit |

Thanks paul. yes these have been PPd to varying extents. However it was restricted to curves and shadow correction mostly. _________________ Arijit |

Thanks Daniel. It is a nice lens. Since I peer down a 300mm, it is taking some time getting used to a different perspective . _________________ Arijit |

Given my greenhorn skills and knowledge, I wouldb't know it even if it bit me in the bu**.
Guess it is evident in case of archetecture shots. _________________ Arijit |

It's there. If you try to get a level horizon or buildings, you will see it. But it's not shocking. |

This will be my next lens. Hard to beat the field of view and sharpness you get for the price. Yes, there is a little Mustache distortion, but that's a 1-click fix. I just need to decide if I'm sticking with the EOS system, or moving to something else. _________________ Too many to list. |

This looks like a wonderful buy for anyone with a crop sensor.
Still, too expensive for me. Or I may sell some stuff to get one. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |
