A new life for crazy X-ray lenses (XR Heligon, De Oude Delft Rayxar, Kowa)? Smaller sensor (1/2.3") and ultra short flange seem ideal. I can't wait. What do you think?

I agree with the OP!

In fact I wrote to Rebelyell suggesting 8mm lenses might be useful, too!

Welcome to a source of demand for neglected lenses! True the sensor is small, and I think it could not go any smaller and be sensible, but technology is making great strides. All those CS lenses may now be useful! And those C mount Zooms!

But where did you get the exact 9.2mm from? Clever you! The initial sites all say half way into the 18mm deep body or such.
