another lens I can use now that I shaved my mirror

funny way to hold a pancake (wide open)

not the best bokeh wide open

smaller subject make smooth bokeh f5.6

playing in a 600 year old church

kids playing on the beach

for this one I used the poposhop hdr plugin to lighten the scene

difference between MM and AE version

Very nice shots. The last one is amazing.

MM & AE? You have two of them?

Excellent focus skills Poilu, for shutting fast movement with a manual lens.
Let alone using that small thing with that even smaller focus ring Very Happy

thanks friends for nice comments

this lens doesn't have CA and it is quite flare resistant

yes I have the 2 versions

the last one and #2 are against sun, I don't think about it when I am using T*

the action shots are prefocused, I think AF would miss them

usually I use this lens in hyperfocal for p&s mode
on those shots, I focused more for test purpose

Even though you indicate you prefocused the lens, it is REALLY impressive
that you had the good timing to catch these guys in the middle of their
acrobatics. From what I see, the lens is wickedly good.

T-E-R-R-I-F-I-C series!
I love them all - but the jumping guys (the second one especially) are probably the best that you ever made!

Been ages since I've seen your work. 2,5, and 6 are my faves, well done,
Poilu!

some dslr reach 10fps and should be able to catch such instant
I was lucky to get this one without the motor drive

thanks Bill, you spent more time in the film section and you do well, those digital snapshot still look artificial vs the real thing

even if it is not the sharpest, this lens is certainly sharp enough

thanks Orio, I always try to do my best
but don't you think that this yesterday crop with the same lens is better that those jumping kids Cool

What a gorgeous pano! Shocked Wink Poilu, this is the oversized section,
you can post a larger file if you want! Laughing

Yes, and also definitely better than the rear of the lens! Laughing
Have you noticed differences in performance between the AE and MM versions?
