I bought this lens with heavy fungus all through and had it cleaned professionally.
Here are some images from this past weekend.

I saw these in another thread but did not comment, they are awesome in the true sense of the word. You've captured the power of the waves especially in that first shot. Thankfully we were too far inland to get much of what happened on the coast and in Sydney.

Where did you get it cleaned?

Thanks Mo.
I took it to Alan Small at Taree Camera-House who has a lens repair and service dept.
They did a good job.
Here is another from that series

Very nice!
What was the shutter speed and aperture setting?

Thank you.
For the last image:
ISO 400 1/1700sec and aperture was around f5.6 from memory (was not recorded in the EXIF data)
Shutter speed may have varied either side of that for the others but f/stop was much the same.

Took the big Kahuna and a Canon 2X doubler with me this morning to see and shoot whales as they migrate up the coast.
Plenty of whales and plenty of spouts - maybe fifty while I was there, but too far off to capture as an image. Had to be content with a wave shot and a thermos of hot soup.
