Thank you all!
Your pictures show as well what else this lens could do, pictures like paintings, or sharp images too.
The Trioplan is my second most loved lenses, directly after the Minolta Rokkor 58/1.2.
Working on a backup-solution for the Meyer.

With all due respect I must say.
It's not fair to this lens to see only digital an color samples.
It was designed for bw film shoots.
I hope we can see some here soon. Certainly I will dust off my copy of the lens and put it between some HP5 and the world Wink
It's one of 3 lenses I'm using with my Spotmatic at the moment with HP5. When I finish the roll, I'll put some samples up.

There is definitely a time and place for that soft ghosting effect, but the bokeh is definitely great fun. I especially like Vovan's flower shot (try cropping some from the bottom). Also ZoneV's first picture (beach weeds?) and Martin's red berries. I suppose this is one of those lenses on everyone's list.

Hello Piotr. Nice work, as usual. This lens isn't new to you, is it? I thought I remember seeing it in your collection long ago.

Wonderful autumn:
1.

2.

3.

4.

1,2,3 f2.8, 4 f3.5

only the second picture is slightly lightened and the 3. got a vignette, besides that no alterations.

Thank you!
I really like the lens, it doesn't work in all situations but if you learn how to use it you can save a painter for your pictures Smile

The group shots aren't great as it was my first 'staged' session and I have to learn a lot, I know.
But the nature is really beautiful right now and adds some magic to the pictures, I think Cool

Hi, Excellent, I'm looking for that lens. I wonder why sometimes there are sharp and clear bokeh circles and sometimes there are blurry. What light conditions causes the sharp circles?

Bright points of light.

Dewdrops on a sunny morning are awesome, and if you've got a spray bottle of water you can have water drops any time you like!
