I took the Tessar with me because I liked the length it covered and I like its abilities.I also took the Tamron 103A 80-210,I did not really use the Tamron at all because the length was too long to be really useful in a close up situation.It is hard to know what lens/lenses to take to this sort of event.If the crowd stays behind the lines/ropes all is ok and you can set your shots but when the kids get excited and push on the ropes you take what you can get... 
Luckily for me this car was parked and did not go in the parade but unluckily for me it was in the shade and sun...which I still find hard getting the right exposure.Some PP applied.

#4 Oops this is the interior of the white ford parked besides the blue belair,this interior was more interesting!

With this Tessar I had to pay,the seller assured me it was in good order and it was.mind you to get it working I would have paid for it to be serviced.I do love this lens and its "look a like cousin" the Alu M42 Biotar.
