This thread is a follow-up of the "new idea" thread.

Please, guys, tell us your idea for a photo contest we could start.
First we collect your ideas and then have a vote...

We have so far:

- Shots with a particular lens
- Available light shots
- Architecture with a lens from 85 to 105 mm
- Photos taken using a flash gun

Your turn now.

I will start with a very simple contest that everyone can take part to: a Black & White photography contest.

Only four rules:

- use actual B&W film, not greyscaled digital or greyscaled colour film.

- use manual focus lenses

- any filtering should be done with real filters (not Photoshop)

- submit new photos (not old ones)

Would you like it?

Is there a particular reason why the focal length is restricted? I don't have any primes in this range, the only manual lens I could use is the 80-210 Tamron zoom.

Peter, it was just an idea, nothing set.
The concept was to force the photographer to use a focal lenght that is not common for a task. Like a tele for architecture, or a wide angle for portraits. Having to go beyond the standard may provide interesting results.
