This lens has floating system with a twist, which the block of lens moves
when you focus infinity. Probably they design the lens near focus first,
then adjusted for infinity. (my guess)

Nice to see pictures taken with this rare lens. If I remember as well this is a 'very rare' lens. Right ? _________________ -------------------------------

Yes I think so, but no one knows how many were made. I heard those
lenses were extremely expensive, at the end of 1980's the price for each
was 260,000 Yen (most likely around US2,000 at 80s!!) so no east german
people could afford it.
The story behind this high price was this; East germany had to pay off
war time debt to eastern block of countries, so all the production ones were
sent to re-pay the debt. Some communist very high ranking officers got
those lenses as a part of their parks, which I do not exactly know about.
That is why they pop up the place like Poland, you know Foto-hobby who
was a dealer in Warsaw. He occasionally sells the lens on eBay. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

But there was none of this lens in East Germany when the wall was down.
Some said they made this lens less than 50, but I think rarity tells us
more like less than 100? _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

Perhaps same sad story what Exaklaus did report it, 'nice' Carl Zeiss Oberkochen management did destroy everything in Jena factory as first step when they did take over Jena factory. All prototype, rare lenses etc were brake by hammers... _________________ -------------------------------

made 100 for M42 mount and 50 for Prakticar bayonet mount. So finding
