My copy is the "small" design with 17 blades. The design was patented in 1936, but my actual copy was made in May 1950 (serial number 3345340) and has T coating.
The barrel still bears the focal lenght writing in centimeters (Biotar 1:2 f=5,8 cm T):





People says that the bokeh of this lens is horrible, I think this is one of the best bokeh I ever got in a portrait, with any lenses.

Hi,
is the 17 blade version, any better/worse than 12 or 10? looking for an honest opinion please.
