I was quite influenced seeing the pictures taken from this lens.
Mine has a label read TELE MACRO BBAR MC.

Thanks for sharing! That 8/500 is an amazing lens, isn't it?

Yes, especially when there is enough light.

Tamron 55BB ... Sony A57 ... ISO 800 ... 1/1000sec

A little friend more used to me being on the other side of the window....
Several red squirrels are regular visitors; there are always hazelnuts, walnuts, peanuts and sunflower seed for them.
They climb the wall and sit on the upstairs window-sill.
55BB happened to already be on the camera -- but it's much easier with the Sony 75-300 lens (SAL75300).

Tamron 55BB ... Sony A57 ... ISO 400 ... 1/320sec ... exposure -1

The lens uses an M42 Adaptall mount from China, onto which is fitted an M42 to Sony adapter (chip set to 200mm).
Blurring at side of squirrel's mouth is because the walnut is being nibbled so fast.

Another 55b image. I have been experimenting with 'close ups' using this lens.
