Great samples! It certainly is not worse than the 20mm f/2.8 variant, what do you think? Also, great deep colors and good contrast.

I agree with Spotmatic about this lens. I have M42 version, it performs well
at near too. haven't use it with NEX5 yet... Embarassed

Not yet, before I went to shoot I did find where is sharpest focus at infinity distance I found it is right before infinity mark. I didn't turn focus to infinity just before the mark where I found sharpest focus. It did work Laughing

Closer distance shoot was trouble free focusing that is works fine, at infinity on strong light real trouble, but I found a work around.

This lens is famous from near zero distortions

I think half of the 20mm f2.8 price, but due rarity not easy to catch it.

The Nex is ideal for MF lenses. the APS sensor is excellent and MF lenses show what they can really do on this system.

Exellent pictures of Budapest as always!
Seems like an interesting CZJ. I have never seen it on sale here.

Thank you! Rare and perhaps wasn't export to west ever early lens cold war was strong that time.
