Have a look here:http://www.bigeye.url.tw/big5/lensdiy.htm, someone posted here on the forum not long ago. There are a couple of items pertinent, it's chinese but there are pictures that might be useful.
Rick Oleson has an article with diagrams on FD 50mm f1.4 SSC:http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/index-161.html. If you need something specific try contacting him (on his website or PM here on the forum) as he might have something else as well.
There were also some posts in this very forum that migh be worth searching and also at http://forum.manualfocus.org/index.php
Then you could perform a search on http://www.kyphoto.com/cgi-bin/forum/discus.cgi or maybe asking if you have specific needs. There's people with great knowledge in camera repair there.

I would just like to express a +1 to what Marty wrote, especially about Rick Oleson and the folks over at KY Photo. Rick is a regular at their repair forum by the way. Also, once you join the forum at KY, there are repair manuals available for download there. Nothing for Canon FD, but it's good to know about in case you run into a need for a manual they do have. _________________ Michael

I don´t think repair manuals help that much for conversion jobs.
You could find where to open the lens, probably screws that you better not touch. But up to now I haven´t bigger problems without repair manuals at hand.
I opend the false screws on the FD 500/4.5L iris, and so I had a bit fun with the iris blades. But that is not a real problem - not that many blades, and a good servicable construction.
But now it is publicated which screws are the "bad" ones - those in the small holes of the iris mount. The three screws in tha longer slits are those to take the complete iris out of the lens tube.
This is for the 300/2.8L, 400/2.8L and 500/4.5L. Suppose on the 200/1.8L it is the same. Probably on the darker telephotos too. _________________ Camera modification, repair and DIY - some links to look through: http://www.4photos.de/camera-diy/index-en.html
