the filter thread is broken at one point, but since i don't use too many screw in filters, i really don't mind too much.
I tried cleaning the body and faceplate of the lens with lens cleaner and a cotton swab, and i was shocked to find that the white lettering (as well as the red symbol) started to come off! now most of the lettering is faded (as you can see in the first two pictures), and the black faceplate has a strange discoloration. i've never had this happen to me before. is that normal?
