I would have preferred a greater depth of field to the foot or the same DOF but with focus on foot and not on hand.

Orio this picture is completly useless to evaluate the lens, there s something too distracting in the photo, i don t know, mybe those sexy legs?

I agree with ellepi, the focus on the legs would seem better. But this turned out great also!

I understand the criticism. So I need to explain: I have chosen this focus because I did not want the shoes to be sharp. That would have made the shoes the main subject, and I did not want that.
I thought instead to make something a bit of a perceptual experiment. I knew that everyone would look at the shoes first, and say "hmm, out of focus", but then the gaze would move down following the legs line, and finally, "ah!, here's the focus!"

This also gives me some feminine softness in the legs ends and feet, which I like.
